#IllustrationADay project realized...

A couple of months ago, as a project and exercise, I decided to commit to doing a simple illustration every day for 30 days. The purpose was twofold; Force myself to grow and refine as an illustrator, practicing techniques and honing existing skills, as well as help grow my presence on the social network Instagram. In this day and age, success on the internet IS a popularity contest. So with likes and vanity as currency, I forged my way towards internet STARDOM...ok not quite, but it went well...
I AM happy to say the project was a success. By the end, I had a firm grasp on what I feel my personal style is. Something I'd never had before - I had constantly drawn inspiration from other artists, trying desperately to find a specific style to refine and perfect. I was also successful on instagram, expanding my audience (http://instagram.com/triniteye) by almost 200 unique followers!

Now that I have completed that portion of the project, it's on to phase two! Starting this week, I will begin to take 5 of the more popular posts from my #illustrationADay project, and create digital paintings of them! Releasing one a week for the next five weeks.

I will be posting them to my instagram, with links to download free wallpapers of each here on my website. I will have them available for:
  • Desktop
  • Iphone 4/4s
  • Galaxy phones

Now Introducing week 1!

Thanks for checking in today! I hope that you continue reading through the site and leave as many comments as your fingers can manage! The more things pointing at me on the internet, the more likely people will want to pay me to make them neat stuff...and that way I can pay my bills. Of which there are many...ahem.

Have a great day!

Also I would really appreciate some feedback on the layout of my website, how easy it is to navigate (or isn't) and stuff like that. I appreciate any and all feedback. So be mean if you need to.

Comment, Like, Follow, stalk...whatever.
